How Much VAT? is run by Tenfold Ltd (company no. 5231604), registered office 23 Rectory Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 6BE. This page explains what we collect and why.

Cookies

There are none, and there is nothing to consent to. This site sets no cookies of any kind, and stores nothing in your browser: no local storage, no session storage, no device identifier. That is why you have not been asked to accept anything. The only thing loaded from another company is the stylesheet for our typefaces, from Adobe Fonts, which sets no cookie either.

Using the checker and calculator

You don't need an account. We count how many people visit each page, check an item or open the quote page, as totals only, with nothing that identifies you. If a search doesn't match anything, we keep the words you typed (not who typed them) so we can teach the checker new names.

We also count what kind of place sent you, as one of eight buckets: direct, wearetenfold.com, Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, an AI assistant, social, or other. Your browser tells every site the page you came from; we sort it into one of those, add one to that week's total, and throw the address away. No link is kept between that count and anything else, and none of it is a cookie.

If you ask for a quote

We collect what you put in the form: what you need printed, your name, email, and anything else you choose to add (phone, quantity, size, deadline, notes). We use it only to reply to your request and quote for your job. We don't use it for marketing and we don't sell or share it.

Our legal basis is that you've asked us to quote for work, so we need your details to respond (steps taken at your request before a contract).

Who handles it

• Tenfold, who read and reply to your request.
• Resend, which delivers the request to Tenfold by email.
• Upstash, which stores a backup copy in a database in London.
• Vercel, which hosts the website.

How long we keep it

The website's copy of a quote request is deleted automatically after 12 months. The email in Tenfold's inbox is kept as part of Tenfold's normal business records.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or object to how we use them. Email hello@wearetenfold.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
