Is there VAT on christening printing?

A christening order follows the funeral and wedding pattern. The order of service is a booklet and is zero-rated. The invitations, the thank you cards and anything kept as a keepsake are cards, and cards are standard-rated because they are made to be kept rather than read and let go.

Does a keepsake booklet change anything?

No. Whether something is kept matters for leaflets, not for booklets. A booklet is pages of reading matter bound in a cover stiffer than its pages, and that is what it stays however long it sits on a shelf.
